ELATION TOO RUDE FOR VIDEO HITS! I never really thought that we were THAT rock n roll, but I guess we just earned our rude lyrics girl scout badge... cause the new film clip for "at the disco" is TOO RUDE FOR VIDEO HITS!!! Can you believe it? See if you can work out why...... it doesn't involve nudity, just lyric content. Man, after Pink talks about masturbation, 50 Cent shoots his bitches and Christina just gets her girls out, I must say that I'm quite surprised that Video Hits loved our clip but deemed it too rude for the kiddies to see on a Saturday morning. But the good news is ... you can watch it on channel V this Friday 7th September between 2.30 and 3pm. Please vote for us - you gotta text A if you think it's a hit to 1999 6969 BUT ONLY TEXT WHEN THE CLIP IS ON AIR. They tally up who thinks it's a hit, who thinks it's shit while texts arrive as the song's on air - so tune in and vote to keep us famous. If you want a dose of Elation rudeness while at the pub, ask them for "at the disco" it's on all the Nightlife music video screens in pubs around the country - woo hoo. We get heaps of drunken texts from mates saying.. I jussss totally saw youse guys on the tellys at the pub, like youse are soooo famous.. ummm i think it was youse anyway, cool song, bit drunk, so it kinda looked like you. kisses, elysia. |
At The Disco::::::the film clip
a mini movie monster that inhabited our lives for two weeks, involving a cast of hotties, rockers, quirkies and lovelies.
Directed and shot by Dan Macarthur who's god's gift to the camera, he made us look hot and had the important job of notifying us of any double chin action if being shot from below.
DAY ONE
elysia and her bitches get ready in the bedroom.
Scene - gorgeous moulin rouge style red boudoir, princess dressing table, satin bedspreads, cushions. Punky hair, fishnets, lipstick and two hot chicks. Thanks to Tara and Jools my two hot bitches and bianca, kari and miranda for hair and makeup. We had fun twiling gum, rolling around on the bed and generally being naughty.
Scene - heath my love interest in the clip and self proclaimed god's gift to women rocks up at my door thinking he's gonna score. he's sleazy, greazy and gorgeous.
But he breaks my heart, takes a photo of my in my undies, sends it to all his mates, kisses another girl and ALL HELL BREAKS LOSE. Elysia and her girls want revenge!
We run around the streets of the valley in surveillance mode.
DAY TWO
The band rocks out in a smoky warehouse, Elysia throws her bra, Cameraman Dan attaches skateboard wheels to his camera for some extreme shots, the boys play at the disco about 30 times for different camera angles.
Our friends rock up for a party scene, Heath gets chased out of town and ends up with his pants around his ankles, and a is chased by the stiletto army.
